We are thinking about space in a completely different way : repurposing buildings, co-living, smart tech - people are returning to apartment life in the city, near the urban amenities and moving into compact homes.
Unfortunately, the cosiness of a fireplace is impossible for most - the technical requirements make it unfeasible, and regulations are prohibitory.
